Welcome

Welcome to St Mary and St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School, a school with a proud history and tradition, where the teachings of the Gospels inspire and guide us to enable our children to achieve their very best.

Our Vision Statement ‘Together we strive for excellence, inspired by the joy of the Gospel’ is at the heart of everything that we do and in partnership with parents and the parish. We aim to meet the unique, individual needs of all of our children in a caring and friendly atmosphere with the example of Jesus Christ at its core.

Our Values

We value every child as an individual, and take every opportunity to encourage and support their continued spiritual, physical, moral, social; and intellectual growth and development.

Our faith and our principles are soundly based on the Christian teaching of the Catholic Church, which holds love of God and of each other as the central precept of all our values.

We seek to help each child to develop knowledge, understanding, experience and skills as fully as possible through a broad, balanced range of opportunities and activities.

Letters

We send out letters and newsletters on a regular basis to keep parents up to date with school decisions and progress.

At St Mary & St Thomas Acquinas Catholic Primary School, we keep our parents, carers and families informed about upcoming events and celebrations of our children's successes. We regularly publish a newsletter, which is sent out electronically to all of our parents and is made available on this page. We also use Social media to share the very latest events, learning and religious celebrations that take place within our school.
