In Nursery we have been remembering the soldiers who died in the war. we have learnt that every year around the 11th November people buy and wear poppies. We know that the money from the poppies goes to soldiers and their families to help them. We made our own poppies in class and took them to the whole school remembrance liturgy. We had our own class collective worship to remember.

  

Nursery went outside to observe the changing season and collect colourful leaves. Our challenge was to try to find different autumn colours, but not green. We enjoyed throwing sycamore seeds into the air and watched them twirl like helicopters. Back at nursery, we tore the leaves to make the prickles on a hedgehog. Continue Reading

The nursery children have enjoyed exploring the nursery and making new friends. We have been working together and trying new things. Continue Reading

In RE the nursery children have been learning the importance of a name. They have used and found their own name around nursery to help them  be independent. We know that God knows us by our name and he loves each of us. Continue Reading

Today the nursery children played hopscotch and number games in between the rain showers. They hopped and jumped on the number squares saying the numbers to 10 forwards and backwards. It was lots of fun. Continue Reading
