Year 3 Home Learning – Thursday 16th July

Good morning Year 3.

Can you believe it is the last day of term? Thank you for being such a wonderful class.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful gifts. I feel very spoilt and I am going home to enjoy a pamper tonight and will sneak to the shops over the weekend.

I am sorry we did not get to spend more time together in the classroom this year but will make I come and see you next year. Enjoy your last official day of being Year 3!

English

For your English task today, I would like you to become jail-breakers! I have put some dull adjectives in jail for being too boring. I would like you to think of different adjectives for each word which means the same thing. You can use a thesaurus if you are struggling. When you have finished this, I would like you to put your favourite adjective from each prisoner into a sentence.

Maths

In maths today, I would like you use the time. There are a range of clocks, each showing different times throughout a fun day in the holidays. Use the clocks to work out what the children did throughout the day.
