‘Caring for others’ was the theme of Year 2’s Collective Worship. They thought about NHS workers who are busy caring for sick people, living out Jesus’ mission. The children considered how they can do this by caring for as many people as possible.
Year 2 have looking at photographs of seaside holidays in the past. They identified and learn many facts and were amazed at how many things were different; transport, clothing, entertainment, changing facilities and the number of visitors.
To help us prepare to write a diary about the Great Fire, Year 2 took part in some role play. The children imagined they were asleep when the fire began and thought about their feelings as they gathered their belongings and raced to safety.
Year 2 have thought carefully about how they can do good during Lent. They thought about how Christians try to turn away from bad choices and make good choices. The children shared their Lenten promises during Collective Worship.
