Year 2 Home Learning – Tuesday 2nd June

Good morning Year 2,

I hope that everyone is well.

Today in English you will complete an activity involving looking for adjectives. Remember an adjective is a word that describes a noun. For example; kind, helpful children – kind and helpful are the adjectives that describe the children which is the noun.

In maths you will place the digits 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 around the edges of a triangle so that all the edges add up to total 12. I’m sure that you’ll easily manage this!

Also, you will continue with your joined handwriting practice. Today you will look at two new letters; k and i. Watch the video below very carefully and remember to keep pausing throughout to allow you time to rehearse the letters and words. Writing 1 or 2 lines of each letter and words would give you lots of practise.

Finally as an extra challenge …. how many triangles can you spot?

How many shapes can you spot? Eye experts create gripping visual ...

Have a wonderful day! Work hard but have some fun too!

Mrs Gourley 🙂
