Good morning Year 2,
I can’t believe we are at the last day of term. This has been a super fast year! I’m so sad that it has ended the way it has, but we’ll still come and see you next year when you’re big, grown up children in Year 3!
Today in English you will complete a reading comprehension about lifeboats.
In maths you need to try to calculate my message.
I have also uploaded an English challenge for you – How many words can you make.
If you have time you may like to try to make your own lighthouse.
Finally, I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for being a wonderful class. I have loved teaching you, despite our time together in Year 2 being cut short by the lock-down. I’ll come and visit you when you’re in Year 3 and look forward to seeing you all again in September. Remember to always see hello when you see me in school! 🙂
I have been looking back at some of the highlights of Year 2 and have a created a short video of some of your happy memories…
I hope that you all have a wonderful summer holiday. Have lots of fun, be good, smile and stay safe.
Mrs Gourley 🙂 xx
