Good morning!

I have set you some tasks for today that you can find below.

I have uploaded all of your tasks in separate documents that you can find under each subject heading.

The email address to submit your work to is You can just email me a picture or scanned copy of your work.  This work can be submitted via email at any point throughout the school day (between 9.15 – 3.15 pm). In English we will be continuing to look at conjunctions. Remember that these are words that we can use to extend a sentence to include extra details.

Today we will be looking at ;  and    but    or

I have given you some sentence starts linked to Mr. Grinling. You must extend the sentences using the conjunctions. Write the sentences out below. You could add 3 of your own sentences too.

In maths we are solving some word problems linked to our number bonds to 10, 20 and 100.

Can you complete the bar models and write calculations to go with each problem?

In art we are going to design and make a ‘Happy Harvest’ card that we will send with our schools contributions to the Gateshead Foodbank.  Think about what you could draw as an illustration linked to harvest. What will your message be on the inside of your card?

Collective Worship

The theme for our collective worship today is helping people in need. We will think especaillay about those people in need in our local community. We will then think about how we can help these people through donating to the Foodbank.

Perhaps you could take a moment today to think about people in need. Can you find a story in the Bible linked to helping people? Can you write a short prayer asking God to take care of all the people in need in our world?

Have a lovely half term holiday!

Mrs Gourley 🙂
