Year 4 Home Learning – Friday 24th April

Happy Friday everyone!

Well done for working so hard this week! I hope you have enjoyed all of the activities.

Today in Maths we are doing some fraction work. Then in History, we are going to undertake some research into the Normans  – remember, the Norman’s won the Battle of Hastings in 1066 which brought an end to Anglo-Saxon and Viking rule. Using Google, I would like you to research two types of Norman castle – Motte and Bailey and Stone Keep, finding advantages and disadvantages of each. Then you can draw a picture from what you have learned. I hope you have lots of fun.

And finally, I have set up a battle for us on Times Tables Rockstars… wait for it… all of Year 4 versus ME! I have to admit I’m a little scared because I know how good you all are. It starts today and ends next Thursday. Get battling!!

Enjoy the weekend everybody. I’m off to practise my times tables 🙂
