Year 4 Home Learning – Monday 27th April

Good morning Year 4,

I hope you are all well and enjoyed the sunny weekend…

Today, we will be doing fraction work in Maths.  In English this week, we are going to be studying a short story called, The Quest For The Raindrop of Life. Today’s work focuses on comprehension and the vocabulary used in the story. Later in the week, we’ll be looking at story features, before planning and writing our own short story.

So, enjoy yourselves and as I said last week if you’re keen to do more there’s a link here to some great online classes provided by the National Oak Academy.

English – Reading comprehension focusing on word meaning

Maths – Equivalent Fractions

Have fun!

Mrs Myers

PS Panda wanted to say hello to you all and remind you to get challenging on Times Tables Rockstars. You’re currently winning but Panda and I are up for the challenge… when he awakes from his morning nap of course!
