Hello Year 4, happy Wednesday!
As a school community, we would like to share all of your VE day celebrations and activities. So, if you have any photographs could you please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of the school day on Friday 15th May. Could we please also ask that you use ‘VE Day photo’ as the subject of the email?
Many thanks and we look forward to seeing your celebrations.
Today in English, we are continuing to do work around the film Soar, however, today we are looking at the features of non-chronological reports before planning to write a report of our own tomorrow. Remember, read the worksheet carefully before starting your work. The film can be found at the bottom of this post.
In Maths we are looking at tenths as decimals – the worksheet, together with the answers for both English and Maths can be found below.
And once you’ve finished, continuing with our art theme, why not try to create a drawing in the style of Piet Mondrian, a famous Dutch artist who painted in the three primary colours of red, blue and yellow. Watch the video (it’s below the Soar video) and have a go at creating your own Mondrian masterpiece! If you’re proud of your work, please send it in to show me.
Enjoy your work today!
Take care everyone 🙂
