Good morning Year 4!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are refreshed and ready to learn!
In Maths this week we are going to practise our multiplication and division skills. I have some worksheets for you to do each day as well as some fun challenges to get your brains whirling! Along with the work I set you, I’d like you to practise your times tables either using Times Tables Rockstars or another method you enjoy. As well as multiplying, it’s also important you know your related division operations facts. So if you practise 5 x 6 = 30, I also then want you to practise the related division facts:
30 ÷ 6 = 5
30 ÷ 5 = 6
And if you’re up for a challenge today, try the sheep and cows brainteaser at the end of the worksheet, it’s tricky but if you think hard, you’ll get there 🙂
In English this week, we are going to remind ourselves of some of our punctuation skills, before moving on to everyone’s favourite, story writing, later in the week. Yeah!
If you finish this quickly, why don’t you create your own missing punctuation sentences for a member of your family to correct – when they have finished their work of course!
Have a lovely day Year 4.
