Good morning everybody!
Today I have some lovely poetry work for you to do 🙂 First, you are going to read and learn a poem off by heart. Then, you have two poems to read and some questions to answer and to finish, I’d like you to write a poem of your own. Remember, it doesn’t have to be long, but I want you to make it really descriptive so that even if your reader didn’t know the title of your poem, they would still be able to guess what it is about. Be sure to read the worksheet very carefully.
In maths, we are going to recap our learning about money from earlier this year. If you would like to, before starting the work watch this lesson so that you can remind yourself of the learning https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-4/ scroll down to summer term week 2 (w/c 27th April) lesson 3. The worksheets and answers can be found below.
As it was World Ocean Day on Monday, I have given you a little fact sheet all about dolphins. Read through the information and answer the questions as you go.
Enjoy yourself today! If you work really hard, I have a little treat for you tomorrow… we’re going to be doing History and Art 🙂
Speak tomorrow. Oh, and before I forget, there is also some French revision for you below from Mrs Innerdale 🙂
