Year 4 Home Learning – Wednesday 24th June

Good morning Year 4,

Half-way through the week already!

Today, we are looking at commonly confused words in English – Where, Wear, Were and We’re, along with Your and You’re. I would like you to write out each sentence in your book and use this task to practise your very best handwriting. Take your time and work carefully 🙂

In Maths, we are continuing our work around multiplication and division. As well as today’s worksheet I would like you to choose a times table – ideally one you find a little tricky – and I would like you to write down all of the multiplication and division facts from your chosen times table. So for example, if you choose 9 x, you would write:

9 x 1 = 9 and 9 ÷ 9 = 1

9 x 2 = 18 and 18 ÷ 9 = 2

Also, from today at 9am we are competing with Year 3 on Times Tables Rockstars! The competition closes at 7pm on Friday 26th June and even if you go on just the once you’ll be doing your bit for Team Year 4! Have fun…
