Good morning, can you believe it is the end of April already?!
Here is your work for today:
I would like you to do the reverse of yesterday’s work. This time, converting mixed numbers to improper fractions. You all know how much I would go on about fractions in class and I hope you remember these are my favourite fraction questions.
Quick refresher – The denominator always stays the same!
- Multiply the whole number part by the fraction’s denominator.
- Add that to the numerator
- Then write the result on top of the denominator.
I would like you to select the correct conjunction to complete the sentence.
Follow this link and try drawing your own bubble letters. Once you’ve got the hang of this try other letters in the alphabet. You’ll need this skill for tomorrows fun task.
