Here is your home learning for today.
I would like you to remind yourselves of how to calculate fractions of numbers (amounts).
Helpful hint: You divide the whole number by the denominator of the fraction, then you multiply this answer by the numerator.
e.g. 2/5 of 10 =
10 divided by 5 = 2
2 x 2 = 4. The final answer is 4.
I would like you to look at the picture on the worksheet and answer the questions carefully. When improving the sentences, think about using exciting verbs and adverbs. You could improve any nouns by describing them with interesting adjectives.
This week I would like all of us to focus on our own well-being. I have included below a lovely exercise you can do to switch off your mind and have peaceful calming thoughts. This exercise is very similar to how we would do our guided prayerful meditation in class. Why not try it out as a family?
Fitness is also a key part of keeping your body and mind healthy. To prepare your body for physical exercise, here are some stretches you should always do before and after your activity. Try these out and practice them, maybe ask an adult to support and help you.
