Year 6 Home Learning – Wednesday 6th January

We certainly didn’t expect to be doing this again so soon, but lets start this next series of home learning lessons with a positive approach. We have got lots of exciting things planned.

Today is Epiphany. At some point today, you might like to watch this reflection from YMT.

We are continuing with our non chronological report topic using the video below…. The video guides you through what to do, but please record your work and research on paper or digitally.

We are continuing our topic on fractions for two days. Today we are reviewing finding fractions of an amount.

Use the video to recap on how to calculate fractions of an amount, then complete the worksheet below. Answers are provided to help you find out how you have done and hopefully correct any errors.

It is strange when we stay in one place for a long time we don’t see what is around us. This task will hopefully get you to see one part of your house in a different way . . . . Click on the link below to find out more.

Each art task that you do, needs to be kept in a place by you and when we return to school, we will share your work in class and stick it into your art books. There is no need to send this work in by email.

Logon and see how many you can get right in . . . a minute, 3 minutes, after 5 games, 10 games ? Can you improve your average time ?

Or if you have a times tables clock, you could practice that aswell.
