To mark the end of Fairtrade fortnight, we were invited to wear the Fairtrade colours; black, blue and green for school.
In class we completed some Fairtrade activities. We learnt about Fairtrade and what this means; getting a fair price for the products they produce. Through the Internet we looked at the work of a banana Fairtrade Farmers.
In ICT we then created our own Fairtrade posters.
Our Fairtrade Councillors led a Fairtrade Collective Worship for us, thanking God for all the food we have but also asking God to help us make sure that all farmers get a fair price for their products.
We then had our Fairtrade tombola in class and everyone was delighted with the Fairtrade products they got to take home!
