Bamburgh and Seahouses

Bamburgh and Seahouses

Year 2 really enjoyed the class trip to Bamburgh and Seahouses. We began by visiting the lifeboat station in Seahouses. We saw an All Weather Lifeboat and an Inshore Lifeboat. Next we had a lovely picnic beside Bamburgh Castle. We then visited the Grace Darling museum and took part in some role play. We acted out Grace’s great sea rescue. After that, we had a walk round the village and spotted Grace’s birth home, her family grave and her grave stone. We ended our fun day on Bamburgh beach, we flew kites, made castles, played football, played cricket and dug holes. What a busy day!

Take a look at some of our memories …
