‘The Face’ by Paul Klee

Year 2 are starting a new art topic and began by taking some inspiration from the ‘greats’.

We have been looking at the abstract work of Paul Klee. We have focussed specifically on his famous painting called ‘The Face’ The children looked carefully at this painting and looked at it’s features. They were surprised at the colours Paul Klee used and the shapes within the face. They thought it looked very strange!
