We have been exploring the work of Wassily Kandinsky. Kandinsky was a Russian painter who was heavily influenced by music.
His paintings were always very colourful and used lots of bold shapes and lines.
One of his most famous paintings was ‘Concentric Circles’.
We created our own pieces of artwork based on this painting and listened to music by Richard Wagner, a German composer and a favourite of Kandinsky.
