Today we walked down to Stella Lane to conduct a road traffic survey.
First, we created a tally chart and chose sensible categories. We took our tally charts down to Stella Lane and carried out our survey. We made note of the vehicles which passed us and recorded them on our charts.
When we were back at school we worked in our new ICT suite and created graphs using the data. We used a spreadsheet then Microsoft Excel chart wizard. We had to remember to label our axis and give our graph a title.
