Today a group of children in Year Three led a very thoughtful collective worship about ‘new beginnings’.
Earlier in the week the children had planned their collective worship with Mrs Hurst.
The group created the focal point in the hall on their own and were then followed by the class who sat peacefully in a circle and focused on the candle light.
They read the story of creation and had written thier own bidding prayers in response to the Gospel.
The children had chosen ‘If I were a butterfly’ to end the worship as it reminded them of all of the lovely creatures God created for us to enjoy.
