Year Three have been learning about the Stone Age this half term.
This week they found out about the different tools used by people in the Stone age and how they have developed over the years. They arranged the tools on a timeline showing how they had developed through the Stone Age, Bronze age and Iron Age.
The children had to think carefully about the uses of each tool and describe how they had changed.
There were tools for all sorts of things including cooking, making clothes and hunting.
The children also compared two different kinds of axes and watched them being put to the test.
Next week in Forest School we hope to make some tools of our own!
