On the 5th October, the KS2 school councillors travelled by train to London to visit the Houses of Parliament. We had a special invitation to visit the House of Commons and the House of Lords. This was a great opportunity for us to see where most of our country’s important decisions are made. We also visited the National History Museum, which was brilliant. A wonderful day was had by all, as you can see in our photographs.

I really enjoyed going to London. I was amazed when we went to the museum and saw the massive dinosaur. It was really exiting when we went to the houses of Parliament and saw what happens when you debate. I loved it when we had Mcdonalds and saw big Ben. I wish I could go again. It was really fun.
It must of been great getting to go to parliament
