Yesterday, as a school we celebrated World Book Day. In year 3 we all brought in our favourite book and were given the opportunity to share the book with the class. We all had a chance to move around looking at all of the books. We were fortunate enough to get the chance to read the blurb of books that we liked the look of. Because of this we all now have new books and authors that we can’t wait to start reading. Some of our favourites were Tom Gates, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and books by David Walliams.
After lunch we all designed a book corner which we are able to use as a bookmark. First we designed it on paper and then we made our ideas come to life! We used paper, cards, pens and glue and we think that our designs look great!
