Cave Paintings Like Stone Age People

Today we found out what the stone age people did in their spare time – they painted on the walls of caves. They used whatever natural things they could find as paintbrushes, like twigs, leaves and grass and created pictures of what they had been doing.

We used twigs and leaves from our school grounds and natural coloured paint to create our own cave paintings.

Do you know what the hand print meant?
