We celebrated World Maths Day in school by taking part in a number of fun activities.
The children took part in some mental maths games which involved multiplication rehearsal which is a target for Year 4.
One of the games the children played was bingo and another was multiplication towers. If the children got an answer correct, they were given a piece of dry spaghetti. The children were then put into groups and using marshmallows and all of their dry spaghetti had to try to build the tallest tower! They had lots of fun!
The children then had lots of fun testing their mental maths knowledge on Mathletics in the afternoon…
