Ordering 4-digit numbers

On Friday in Maths, Year 4 learnt to order four digit numbers. We learnt that ascending means smallest to largest number and descending is the opposite – largest to smallest number. We learnt that an easy way to remember this is that descending means that the number values are going down and that the words descending and down both begin with a D! We then did lots of activities with our talk partners to practise.
