Investigating 3D shape properties

Year Six have been looking at 2 and 3 D shape properties. To investigate 3D shape properties they were challenged to make their own 3D shapes from nets. Some of the nets were rather complicated and took quite a while to make with lots of fiddly folding and glueing. Once made, it was easy to find the properties of shapes such as isocahedrons, pentagonal pyramids and tetrahedrons.
