In Science, Year 6 have been exploring the different components of blood, in particular, the purpose of red blood cells.
The children looked at how red bloods cells transport oxygen around the body, whilst also removing the waste product carbon dioxide. They worked in pairs to create diagrams, and explain how this process works in the body.
