Bread Making

Bread Making

As part of their Egyptian topic, Year 3 made Ancient Egyptian bread. The children had to use the scales to accurately weigh the ingredients and measure the capacity of liquids using a measuring jug.

They then combined their ingredients and the kneaded their dough and made a small roll each. We then created our own oven using a cardboard box and tin foil and baked our bread in there. The bread was delicious!
