Seahouses – Lifeboat Station

Year 2 enjoyed their visit to the Lifeboat station in Bamburgh. The children learnt about the work the RNLI do as well as the two rescue boats they have in the station. The volunteers explained about their roles and what a sea rescue is like. The children were able to make comparisons to the RNLI today and Grace Darling’s famous sea rescue.
